Ultimate Italian Sub Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup whole-grain garlic mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 4 (8-inch) super sub buns
  • 2 packages (6 ounces each) Fiorucci® Sandwich Variety Pack (Hard Salami, Pepperoni & Genoa Salami), halved crosswise
  • 4 slices Fiorucci® Pre-Sliced Prosciutto, halved lengthwise
  • 4 slices provolone cheese, halved
  • 1 small Roma tomato, halved lengthwise and sliced crosswise
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup drained and chopped mild sweet cherry peppers
  • 1/4 cup drained sliced pepperoncini
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions

Prep: 15 minutes | Serves: 8

In small bowl, whisk mayonnaise and mustard; in separate small bowl whisk oil and vinegar.

Spread cut sides of buns with mayonnaise mixture. Fill buns with variety pack, prosciutto, cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, peppers, pepperoncini, oregano and oil mixture; cut crosswise in half. Makes 8 sandwiches.
