Scoop 2-1/2 tablespoons meatball mixture into a ball; press 1 salami slice and 1 mozzarella cheese cube into the center, forming meatball mixture around filling to enclose. Repeat to make 15 more meatballs; refrigerate in an airtight container up to 3 days.
For serving, heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add 4 meatballs; cover and cook until browned and internal temperature reaches 145°F, about 10 minutes; stir in 1/2 cup marinara and cook until just heated through. Serve meatballs garnished with 1/2 tablespoon basil and 1 teaspoon oregano.
